We love the Wellington Library; it’s a fantastic community resource, made even better by the people who work there.

A special shoutout to Travis from security. I accidentally left my iPad at the library, and Travis helped recover it with exceptional professionalism. What impressed me most was his calm, composed, and process-driven approach. He handled the situation in a way that immediately put everyone at ease while methodically solving the problem.

Travis is a tremendous asset to the library. Outstanding professionalism and service—thank you!

Beautiful and amazing experience! Turn off the devices and bring a child or a friend. You will leave energized and full of hope for a better future. Love it!!

As a local mom of three and a real estate agent, the Wellington Branch Library is one of our favorite places. We come often after school for reading and homework, and it always offers a calm, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere.

The staff is exceptional—kind, attentive, and truly supportive of both kids and adults. I love the spacious kids’ area where little ones can learn and read without disrupting adults who are studying or working. The monthly craft activities and smart games for kids are a huge bonus and always a hit with my children.

As a realtor, I frequently use this library as a quiet place to focus and work for my clients. I highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood library to families and professionals alike.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to have loud conversations on their phone in a library. Nobody seems to care, I have tried to come in to study several times and each time I come in, there’s always someone on their damn phone. Take the calls outside. I remember libraries used to be a a quiet place to read and study without the distractions of others. Apparently things have changed these days. This location needs to have a rule in place for loud phone conversations and loud conversations in general. Super disappointed.

I love this library and come here every week. It is spacious, clean, newly renovated (no ugly brown carpet), and has an extensive collection of resources from books, magazines, DVDs, and even movies. They also have very nice kids classes. We really enjoy Preschool Playdate and Sensory Playtime. My son also likes the open play space with blocks and legos. We have not seen such a space at other libraries.
Just avoid it from 2 pm-5 pm because they have free snack for elementary kids so it’s run over by kids from Elbridge Gale. Other than that it’s an amazing community space.
