Had the opportunity to see this school and I was throughly impressed with the overall atmosphere and bilingual curriculum. It seems like a great option and they really prepare their students for elementary school and beyond.
Great experience overall! Everyone from the phone to the school were really kind and helpful. It felt like they really cared about my family.

My two children (now 14 and 7) both attended the aftercare program at Oceanside, and for many years it has felt like a second family to us. The staff has always been caring and supportive.
One employee who truly stood out was Dianna. She was wonderful with the kids—kind, patient, and someone who genuinely cared. My children loved her, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing she was there.
I was very sad to hear that she left. She will truly be missed by many families.

Children of America changed everything that was beloved about this daycare until there was nothing left after they took over a couple years ago. That includes a beloved and amazing daycare director who recently left. They are a toxic corporation, and that toxicity unfortunately impacted and corroded the Oceanside that we have loved and attended for the last six years with our four kids.
This review has absolutely nothing to do with the local staff and teachers.
But as long as you see COA as part of the title of this Daycare, I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your child care.

I attended this preschool as a child, so I was incredibly excited to send my own children here. It always felt like a warm, nurturing, mom-and-pop environment where the teachers truly cared and relationships mattered.
Unfortunately, since the school was purchased by Children Of America COA the atmosphere has completely changed. Policies are being implemented that feel impersonal and disconnected from what made this place special. Long-tenured teachers who helped build this school’s reputation are being let go for trival reasons and it’s heartbreaking to watch the culture shift so dramatically.
I want to be very clear: the front desk and teachers themselves are absolutely wonderful. They are caring, dedicated, and the reason families have trusted this school for years. One of the most upsetting changes was the decision to part ways with a tenured teacher my child had formed a strong bond with for not removing a facial piercing she jas had for years (so small I never noticed it in past 3 years). These teachers are helping raise our children, those relationships are everything to students and families.
This school used to feel like family. I truly hope leadership listens to parents and remembers that the heart of this preschool has always been its teachers and the relationships they build with our children.

Amazing! Every single person there is qualified to take the best care of your child and we know we are leaving our baby in the best hands. Diana has been nothing but kind and has helped ease any of our worries. We are confident that putting our child in Oceanside has been nothing but positive and we look forward to seeing all of the ways in which he grows while being there.
