This library is a wonderful place to visit in the heat – the have a large selection of books. Lovely staff members too !!!

One of my favorite places in Boca ! I am a Furbaby Guardian & dogs are not allowed in the library. When you place a hold online, you only have 5 days to pick your books up.

The staff informed me that this library has drive up delivery so I was able to get Belle Burden’s Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage.

I loved the book and the drive up / pick up service – THANK YOU !!!

Atomic Habits is one of the to 10 books being given as a Christmas present this year. It was published in 2018. I’m 50 pages in and LOVE it!!! The Boca Raton Public Library Branch on 2nd Avenue near the Brightline is beautiful. Helpful staff members, lovely revolving art in the entrance, and speakers in the conference rooms !!!

Absolutely loved Maria Shriver’s new book, I am Maria! This branch is my favorite. Staff is so helpful and great selection of bestsellers 📚 out grouped by categories.

One of my top 5 places in Boca !!! I picked up Crash and two Mel Robbins books – what could be better than that? Not much for Broke in Boca!!!

Beautiful interior, warm, helpful staff, and any book you are interested in as they will obtain it from other libraries if they do not have the book in house!

Public libraries are the best assets in any community, and Boca does not disappoint ! I’ve been to the Spanish River branch, but this downtown branch is only a bike ride away! Both branches are beautiful with helpful and professional staff members. They are stocked with great reads, puzzles and activities. Today, I picked up Lianne Moriartty’s new publication, Here One Moment, and the Elon Musk biography. This is Broke in Boca’s Best Bang for Your Buck !!!

Beautiful library with knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind employees. I am being bullied and harassed by my neighbor so this is a safe haven that I bike to when I can’t stop shaking after each incident. Another neighbor comments that I am going to be clipped by the crazy drivers on Dixie, but I would rather die on my bike than have another fall due to the stress of the 3 hour ordeals of the neighbor not answering security calls & pretending she’s not home when the police come.

Back to the library – its large and bright with a wonderful selection of books and an amazing childrens section. They added a festive corner to the left of the inside entrance to write holiday letters to my heroes – the troops overseas! The military men and women need our support!

After moving from Brooklyn to South Florida, visiting the Spanish River Library with my son was a real eye-opener. It’s something we didn’t get to experience in New York—even when we compared it to some of NYC’s most beautiful libraries. The building is huge, modern, and bright, and the grounds feel like a nature reserve, with water, trees, and paths that people actually use.

What really makes this library special is what it offers beyond just books. Besides classes and community events, families can borrow video games for all the major systems, board games, learning kits, musical instruments, sports equipment, and more—all for free with a library card. It’s an amazing resource for kids and families and a great example of how a library can really be a community hub.

Not trying to be rude – but unlike the Spanish River Library – this location is a difficult one to work in or study. People speak without being told its a library, its also basically a bit of a homeless shelter. People also eat at every desk top. Basically the polar opposite of Spanish River.

The problem is not so much the staff, its the people this one location attracts.

It’s more like a foot court, mall and book store wrapped in a look of a library. Spend time there and you will see.

I will always take the longer drive to the Spanish River location for safety, cleanliness and quiet.

This local library offers plenty of parking and a warm, inviting atmosphere with soft lighting and well-designed spaces. The friendly staff is always available to help and quick to organize, ensuring books are easy to find and shelves remain tidy. The layout is well-structured, making it effortless to navigate different sections, whether you’re searching for a specific title or simply exploring. The peaceful environment makes it a perfect place to read, study, or work without distractions. Plus, the bathrooms are kept impeccably clean, adding to the overall comfort of the space. A great spot for anyone who values a well-maintained, welcoming library.

My son and I love it here. It’s a wonderful library with variety, friendly staff, and weekly books that are updated. I think it’s the best place I’ve discovered while living here.

Kids can take private lessons here, freelancers can come and work in a quiet environment with their own laptops.

You can even rent videos, playstation, nintendo… etc. for very little money.
